I replaced the T-85 3-speed w/R11 O.D. tranny in my `57 with a T-5 and will be selling it... it was in fine working shape, I just wanted five speed.
While I have all the "accessories" (relay, handle, kick-down, harness and shifter), should I sell it as a package or as individual pieces? I'm looking more to moving it than maximizing dollars... which would be quicker, a complete system or replacement parts?
What other Ford vehicles would this T-85/R11 combo have come in?
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
Cheers... Brian

I would say if you want to move it sell it as a package.

While selling it as a package would make it very appealing to someone wanting to convert to an OD, I'm afraid you might find yourself giving away the stuff like the relay and solenoid. They fetch pretty good bucks on eBay. Although it is not my main business, I am a licensed salvage dealer. One of the things I have learned over the years is, the more little pieces you can break it down into, the more you will have at the bottom line. However, it may take longer to piece it.
