taking the kids for a nice afternoon drive around town Saturday; even took the video camera and shot some footage while driving...

oh, did I mention that the fuel gauge was not at the top of the list of stuff to get working?

well, it has now moved up several notches...!  Yep, almost back in the driveway when it died that "... you've just run out of gas" way!  Fortunately, we were coming up on a gas station, which we had just enough speed to coast in to!!  My daughter said something like "... I wondered why the car got quiet all of a sudden...".

Silly me... I handed the vid camera off to my son and it got switched off... wouldn't the last few seconds have been gold to get on film?!!

Of course my 14 yr old son promptly posted the whole trip details on his facebook!!

I hate technology!!

any similar stories out there...?

Video cams are great! Not that kind of story, but once our twins were at swings and I was recording them. And when I saw my son dropping from the swing I instantly switched the camera down and rushed to check how bad he injured himself. No, not at all and I sure missed one hell of a "Funniest home videos" episode Smile.

Jep, they have spoken a few words of wisdom about cars too, but right now I don't remember any particular.

I still use an "old school" camera... you know, the kind with film...

oh wait, "film": its that stuff that camera's used to take... it got exposed to light during filming..

oh wait, remember the "VCR"?... well, the next development was VHS-C... smaller cassette...

no, wait... I'll think of something...

ok, picture a hand-held device to record images for later viewing... now, you look thru the viewfinder and...

shoot!... just say its not digital!  not sure it can be uploaded to this site...

no wait... is this a "site" or a "forum"...??

Alright now, I actually know another definition for Beta other than "a first run computer software program"  Tongue

My dad actually purchased a very nice WWII documentary videotape narrated by Ronald Reagan - and it wasn't VHS......................................................................................................

My sons have gasoline in their veins. Older one is 7 and younger one is 4. No bad accidents this time Smile.

If they do that long enough, does the snow turn into petroleum flavored ice cream?
