The newest member of the family is a '60 F100 with a '73 360 & 4-speed. It's spent some time sitting in the Nevada sun, and I've been going through the usual stuff, belts, hoses, plugs, fluids, etc.
It ran fairly well when I got it, but the carburetor (2bbl) is leaky and worn out. There's a spacer under it that looks like its for an EGR setup. The spacer is full of crud and corroded past the point of saving. There's a port in the intake under the spacer that looks like it might have directed exhaust gases to the spacer at one point but its now plugged up with gunk. A previous owner tapped a hole in the EGR port on the spacer and ran the PCV line through there. Not sure how well that setup works.
I'm tempted to just get a plain spacer with no EGR provision and a new 2bbl, but not being familiar with FE's I thought I'd see what you folks think.
