Yes!!! We did it! Today afternoon the 292 Twin Turbo was running. First without pressure lines connected to get it just running. Lots of BANGS and BOOMS but finally it started. Just a few minutes because water lines were not connected either. Then after few moments of search and "find what is in your garage" we got intercooler lines connected and we fired it with boost onboard. Sounded very interesting and I almost  got my pants full of "sh#t" once when the revs started raising rapidly after boost got to 0.5 bar at about 4000 rpm. Had to shut it down w00t. And seems to be that 270 degree cam is ok with turbos. Well, time will tell us more when we get that engine hooked to Hollow Machine and get some laps around circuits. Smile

It is ugly but it runs!

Some progress today. We put the twin turbo engine to the Hollow Machine. Some fuel lines, one intercooler hose, boost gauge and a few other things must be done before next start up. One month to do all that to get the rat roadster running around the gravel track at Freak Race at Luumäki. Plenty of time, I would say...BigGrin

The man here is yfreak57 installing intercooler lines.

And this is how it is now!

Still missing the Panhard rod...w00t

It will be there someday... belive me!

And it is still alive! But the driving season is over for Hollow Machine and we just drove it to winter storage. Yes, Jyrki really drove it, thus it was absolutely illegal thing to do here in Finland. No papers, homebuilt everything, Twin turbo, no mufflers etc... But as Jyrki said, IT WAS FUN BigGrin. No highway driving, only small city road cruising and we didn't even see a single cop. Luckily, I quess w00t.

Setups are still not perfect, but it is driveable and roadworthy Wink as you can see from the pics...
