Here on the Right Coast, a complete useable 57 rear end assy starts at $500.00.  Even if you do not need it, I strongly recommend you get it, especially if it is free.

All 57 rear ends ARE 9 inch and they drop into 1965/66 Mustangs so they have value.

I was offered(for free) most of a 57 Fairlane body and chassis.The front clip,suspension and engine are gone,but the rear end is still there.Are all 57's 9 inch rear ends?If so it probably is worth going after the car.
