Hello Reguarding the thickness of aluminun valley pans someone told me you could grind the edges to make it fit without removing the heads. this a good idea or not.  Would there be sealing problems if it is cut. Thanks for your imput.  Bill

You cut a small notch in the pan where the pan touches the flange on the head (4 places). About an inch long and about 1/8 in deepUse good sealer and it wont cause any problems. If you need a picture let me know.
