Someone recently bought a "Vintage Uni-Syn (for synchronizing multible carbs) on E-Bay for $141.00. You can by new ones all day long from Jeg's (among others I'm sure) for $26.00). How's the saying go, some people have
more dollars than sense?

To some people having an original is worth a lot for the bragging rights. Some people just think an item is worth a lot because someone else is bidding and they assume the other bidder knows the value of the item.
