Hi Guys. I probably have a dumb question but I in the process of finishing assembly on my new 292 for my 56 F100.

I have a C2AE block which does not have a hole for a draft tube on the side of the block. Is it best to get a valley cover that is set up for a rear draft tube or none at all.

Have finned aluminum Moon valve cover with no breathers so only point would be oil fill tube. ( I am not so comfortable with setting up a PCV )

any advice would be greatly appreciated

I will post some picture next wee to get some input.

Howdy,

I have my draft tube hole covered. It's far better (and cleaner) to install a PCV on the engine.

Cheers,

Rick
