Got home from my shop the other night and I left the dogs outside with my side garage door open for the day so they could go in and out as they wish. evidently the beagle caught wind of a squirrel, chipmunk or mouse in the garage, well everything was scattered all over the place, a five gallon bucket of shiny Black grease was dug out of the corner and tipped over with the cover removed, then shelves of cans of bolts, nuts and washers were dumped all over the floor mixed in with the grease. along with bags of cat litter torn apart, my wifes potting stuff etc. etc. etc. I was until 10:30pm cleaning the garage and then had to get in the shower with the beagle and spend about 45 minutes in there trying to wash the grease and dust off from him so he didn't get it all over the house.

Well she forgives the dog because he doesn't know any better and he is is always allowed in the house but not I. I know how to end up in the doghouse without his help and it usually happens at least once a week.

Could have been worse. Last month I turned on my outside hose faucet, and forgot to turn it off before leaving the house. Didn't know, but pipe had burst over the winter, and when I came home there was 6"s of water in the basement (where all the new engine parts were laid out on the floor). Cleaning THAT mess up was an all-nighter!
