Well guys I'll get them here way less than what I can find one for here and thats IF I can find a decent car here..

It costs about $4100. aust dollars each with all the marine insurance to get them here in W.A. and then on top I'll pay a 10% tax on what "I" paid for them. I'll pay a little less as they are shipped together.

I'll be honest and say I picked up the 56 Fairlane which was a two owner 90,000 original mile car with a HEAP of spares etc for $9500 USD

and the real [BS23] 'Cuda witha 360, power steer, discbrakes, A/C etc for $18,000 USD.

I bought the when the Aust dolla was at around 90. US. cents so I everage 10% more in you language.

That 'Cuda is easy a $35,000 + AUD here...

Im way infront..Wink

Won't you ruin that value when you convert the steering wheels to the wrong side?

Bill ,

Don't know what the rules are in WA ( that's Western Australia ,not Washington ) ,but here in Queensland if the vehicle is over 30 years  of age you don't have to convert them to RHD . You just have to drive them on the wrong side of the road ??? I only converted my Vicky because Lynne wanted to drive it . If I had another one ,I would leave it left hook ???That's "Aussie" for left hand drive .

I thought I heard some stories while I was over there about you guy's installing a fake steering wheel on the right and covering the left one with a jacket to get them registered because it was the law that they had to be right hand drive after x amount of months of being there? You must have been talking about doing this to something that was less than 30 years old.
