Yes - Happy Mothers Day! My mom will probably never read this, but she knows that she is half the reason I am into Y blocks. She had a lot to do with the choice of my "first car" which obviously had a 272 in it.

Thanks a mil, mom!

When I bought my first '55 Ford Ranchwagon in 1965 I was not old enough to have a license so my Mom used to drive me and my friends to the beach and stuff in it. So I guess she is a Y-Mom (now in her mid 80's).

So HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY, Y-MOM...

one of my sweetest memories of Mom were her driving us to school in the spring thru a citrus orchird in her 56 Merc.  no A/C so we had the windows down and the blossoms smelled great!  In the winter, we put a quilt over our legs on the drive cause the heater was busted and there were a few drafts in the floor board!
