Got my 55 raised back up to a acceptable height this week and I am satisfied on how it rides now,I put dropped spindles and 2 inch lowered springs up front and lowered springs and blocks in the rear and it rubbed and bottomed out and was just plain horrible but looked good. Took the blocks out of the rear and put some spacers up front and should do me untill I put the Y block back in when I will have to get a new set of front springs due to the weight differences in the motors,still goes down the road straight but should get the alignment checked and when this bad weather gets out of here I will pull it out of the garage and install the new temp gauge as I can work better with the doors open and my garage is a little tight.

Is that a before or after picture? It sets pretty low now. I'm running the lower A arm spacers and 3" blocks in the rear and mine looks about the same. Chuck in NH

That is a before picture and have not taken any after pics,it looked good but the front tires rubbed the inner fenders when I hit a bump and rubbed when the wheels were turned so something had to be done. It just got finished when the picture was taken and the new springs had settled some so it was a little lower a couple years later.

im pretty sure they rubbed u have big beery tires usualy ppl cut the lip from the inside to make big fat tires fit

Keep it on a flat 1/4 track and drive straight!! I could live with the bumps but the turning is another issue. Still think the stance is dead on.
