Had a local shop do a valve job on my 312 heads.I decided to have the rockers dressed so i took them up the day i picked up the heads.I took 4 extra along so i could pick the best for a set.I told the owner but he didnt tell the machinist about the extra 4,when he was done with them he came out and ask me if they were mine and i said they were and he said dam first time i ever heard of a v -10  y block. we really had a good laugh on that. He is in his 60s and he knew y blocks,he also did a great job on the heads   Carl
