Try refitting converter bolts, clean converter and stand on edge with a piece of cardboard under it, check and rotate each few days looking for leaks, Most times it will be from front area and may have ran down converter body when removing it?.

it looks to be leaking between the converter and the fly wheel i have not seperared them yet

I believe the headbolts were all  the same length in the 55 y-blocks.The torque convertor is NOT leaking because you removed the six bolts.Where is it leaking from on the TC?

well i got the motor out today tore down and when pulling the heads all upper head bolts was the same length as was all the lower ? is that strange that the end bolts was not shorter? and the converter is leaking is this because i pulled the 6 bolts holding it to the flex plate ?
