There may be a small clip on the back of the attach point of the wiper arm . If so you need to pry that back before it will move. WD 40 it a bit and it should work.

You have to "tilt"the arm away from the windshield using the hinge on the arm.You should be able to "rock" the arm end off the wiper pivots.If not you may have to try and get some WD-40 or similar into it and let it soak a day or so.

Can someone tell me how to remove the wiper arms from a '55 Ford Customline? I lifted arm and wiggled, I even slightly pried between arm and pivot shaft.......didn't budge!!!!  All help appreciated  Thank you~~~~~~Ron  ,
