Got it done and everything is on the car, the reaming part went well, just scary, cut>fit>cut>fit> cut>fit, that called for a cold one when that was done. Now it's bleeding and realigning the front end. As I said before, if anyone ever needs a reamer, I've got a good one for sale.

I did my own. I set the reamer in a 1/2 drill press, set it on the lowesr speed, got the spindle in a good upright position and went at it. As was said, you have to go slow and make sure you match both sides depth wise.

Yes the reamer is what you use to get the 7 degree taper at the spindle/tierod hole. When I did mine I raised the car up on jack stands to get clearance and used the reamer in a Makita battery powered drill, the reamer cuts like a knife through butter so go slow and check fit till you get what you need, mine fits perfect and have had no problems! I think people take it to a machine shop because they have the reamer(some not all)but you can get it on line for about $70. KID

What do you do with the reamer? Is that what cuts the 7degree thingy? Do you just put it in a drill or what? I always thought you had to take it to a machine shop.

Anyone have an exploded view of the Granada spindle assy? I had to buy a reamer from Speedway, so if anyone needs one let me know, I'll probably never use it again. Gary
