Gents,

Just bought a 1273 Holley off of Ebay for my '57 ford Convertible. THere are 2 ports on the passenger side of the carb that I'm not sure where to hook up. 1 port is to the lower left side of dial choke, the 2nd port is larger and near the front bowl. Where do each hook up?

Many thanks!

Port on choke housing is for heat tube to manifold, other by front bowl is for vacuum advance to dist.

Old Ford nut,
Thanks for the quick reply. Very helpful. My intake manifold has a plug where the heat tube should go. Do I need to block off at the carb or drill and tap the plug out to connect?

Thanks!

If you stay with the original choke you will need tube, or you could go with electric choke. Without a choke at all is usually not easy, pumping to start and easy to kill engine till warmed up.
