Gary: Are you changing from automatic to stick? Do you intend to used the column shift? I have a changeover from a '54 Ford, pedals, linkage, equalizer, bell, flywheel, clutch, etc. The '54 equalizer presents a problem if you have dual exhaust, it's a tight fit. I believe all the parts are there, even the shift rods, but no steering column.

I'm gonna be in need of everything to make the stick set-up work except clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing as they will be new. All the mounting brackets, pedal, springs, actuating arm, bell. Hopefully everything will come from one place. Thanx, Gary

I recently installed a 3.03 tranny from a 68 Torino in a 56 Y block. The front bearing retainer was to wide for the bellhousing hole. I had to turn it down in a lathe to fit. Was well worth it. It's nice having an all syncro tranny and lower 1st gear as I am running 3.22 gears in the rear end. No longer have to ride the clutch on take off. Good luck. Dave

Does the Y bell housing end with the Y Block?

Yes, the inside pattern should be the same. Input shaft will need to be shortened by grinding off some of the pilot.

Just picked up a 3.03 tranny from a mustang. It has 8 mounting bolt holes, will 4 of them fit up to a Y bellhousing? Gary
