Hi guys, Has anyone ever put power brakes in there ford. I was at a cruise the other night, and I saw a 55 vicoria like mine there with power brake set up.Couldn't find the guy to ask him what he used.A couple of guys told me it's a corvette set up. It was a 272cu. in. w ith a 2 bl. carb. He was coming off the intake with a hose to the power booster. I have no place on my intake for that. Any sugesstions.

If you are working on a 55-56 have a look at Ebay item # 330442436930.Several of us have purchased that setup from that seller. His name is Dave and he will sell direct without going through Ebay usually at a  little better price(phone him,his # is on his listing, good guy very honest). If you dont  have an outlet on your manifold at the back you can either drill and tap OR you can tee into the hose for the vacuum wipers. It works but you are better to dril and tap a separate outlet if inclined. You should also consider using a proportioning valve which Dave also sells.I used an adjustable on mine but am seriously considering adding the proper prop valve. If you do a search onb this site for "power brakes" there is a pic of Mikes setup which is from Dave.
