The $25 quote was from the Commonwealth bank. With the start of the new financial year on July 1st the price went up to $30!!! One of the disadvantages of living in a county town, only one bank still here.

It's a problem for me too here in the UK. Charges for a bankers draft in a foreign currency are exorbitant. I looked into travellers checks and they now don't issue them in bills less than $50 Paypal would be so good. Richard

I have allways sent cash to Bruce, never get complaints from him about it. I have usually put them between pages of Ford-Freak magazine.

Pete, This seems to be a problem for us Aussies . Bank charges and fees are a killer . Birdmans offer is the way to go . I bought some stuff from a speed shop in USA only to be told they wouldn't ship outside USA ??? One of the guys on the site came to the rescue .I paid for it with credit card ,had it shipped to his place ,then he posted it to me .Then I sent him the cash for postage via mail . Lon

Pete: I think you need to check with another Bank. Or isn't there some other outfit there that does money transfers?

Daniel, I e-mailed Bruce about my problem last week, his reply was that he thought most used the international draft regardless of the cost. I was hoping he might have had a credit card or paypal set-up by now. Earl, thanks for the offer, I'll give it some thought over the next few days, the more I think about the 3 year sub for my $25 draft the better it looks, $8.33 per year is acceptable.
