My original (?) front crank seal with 93k on it is leaking all of a sudden. I greased it well last year when I changed the dampner, but now it has started leaving a 4" pool of oil wherever I park. I have scheduled an engine rebuild for this winter, and wonder if any of the "miracle" additives (Barrs Leak?) designed to swell rear seals/gaskets might slow down the oil loss/mess and get me through the summer (I can't park in my friends' driveways). Anyone out there have experience with any of these products?
