I am assumimg that 1. - the linkage to the carb is on the right (passenger) side and 2. - the trips have the linkage on the left side (just like my set up in a 54).

I got a four speed so my installation was easier. What you need is the linkage off a 4bbl automatic car, the one that mounts on the left rear of the intake. This should have all the connections you need. You may need the 4bbl kickdown rod as well as the connector from the gas pedal to the unit that mounts on the manifold.

55 Club Sedan, 292 fresh, Stock fordomatic and stock linkage. I know how to get the carbs linked up, but my question is how do I get the fordomatic kickdown working and how can I modify the existing linkage on a stock 2 barrel motor (this is the 55 -56 2 barrel intake).??
