That one I gave a vote for best in its class BigGrin .  It was a neat/cool show.  Nice drive, great people and cars, FREE registration, and I won a raffle prize that wasnt a Toyota Ball cap (another show).

19.3? even going over the passes? wow that's pretty good.. This one had nothing to do with a Y but i sure geeked out over it..

that's a crankshaft mounted blower.. How cool is that? (that handsome feller with his head under the hood is me dear ol' dad)

Dustin, sorry I missed you!  I saw more Y-block powered vehicles today than any show in the last 4 or 5 years.  There was a cool black and blue '57 wagon that retained its 292, and a very nice 3 deuce 272 powered '55 effie, just two that come to mind.

I posted this result over on FTE too.  MPG for the 150 mile round trip was 19.3!

woops... Forgot a couple..

The black one is owned by a guy i know.. He traded someone a beat-up old 4X4 chevy straight across for that exactly as it is.. don't know what under the hood of the orange one but it sure looks good..

That engine was under the hood of a 56.. Didn't take a shot of the truck cause it was a little too much of the gaudy street rod type for my tastes..
