This is my intro. I am looking forward to being on this board and may learing somthing. I am not very good on computers I guess to old to learn much. My name is Bobby I live in huntsville alabama. Draw social security and retired from a auto co whose name would not be welcome on a y block board. I first raced Y blocks 1964 in my figure 8 car 56 ford with 57 engine I had a blast with it. I own several hot rod type ford powered I will list any way.. 72 f 250 FE 427 powered, A 34 Ford sedan jalopy race car with flathead. 3 5/16 by 4 for the FH crowd. I race a Brand X car on the local circle track..My Y block auto is a 55 mainliner. 292 plus 30 bore 312 crank ecg heads ,isky cam, electronic dist with msd, Reds headers flow master mufflers t 10 trans 411 rear. newely added 600 holley by C&S. its a old drag car with drive shaft loop. kill switch in bezzel above tail light and other drag strip required goodies. the car ran mod production and gas classes in the late 60s and early 70s. I made some passes on test and tune night at the local 1/8 mile with 8 inch slicks. My reaction times were real bad. { I am old and a circle track racer} anyway I ran 10 times throw out the best 2 and worst 2 passes the times 8.50 to 8.80 range. If this intro needs any more ask me. Thank You very much for letting me join your group.. Bobby,,

Welcome Bob. Sounds like you have a well stocked inventory of cars and we may learn a few things from you. Don't worry about the computer thing I'm in the same boat. Besides, thats what grandkids are for.

Bob. Welcome to the site. Always good to have another Y-Blocker on board. And it will not be held against you for working for the other brand if that helps. If you have difficulty in loading pictures to the site, see if the link to this thread helps. http://www.y-blocksforever.com/forums/Topic34535-6-1.aspx Otherwise just contact me directly through my business email at www.eatonbalancing.com .
