Just out of interest, I found it interesting to study the 2008 & 2009 EMC results in some detail. One thing that stands out, and I've never heard anyone mention it or write about is the following; No entry qualified in the top 15, unless it's "roll in torque figure" (in both those yrs it was @ 2500 RPM) "exceeded" the engines displacement... In fact, in 2009 the top 20 qualifiers torque numbers exceeded their displacement @ 2500 RPM. Which brings up the question, what would be needed to have a Y- Block meet that criteria ?
