Earl's surgery went well they say.Doctors are optomistic. He is in some pain of course but seems to be a bit happier than he was. He will have to have 2 more surgeries if everything works out from this surgery. He needs his ear canal rebuilt, and he will have to have an eardrum built so he can hear some. He will have some type of hearing implant to aid in his hearing. We will be here in Atlanta a few more days it looks like. Dont know when his surgery is going to happen. But, I will update you when I know. Earl says hello. Dan Jessup : we wont be home next week. Sorry we will miss you. Gaye Dagenhart

Earl, we are still praying for you too up here in Winchester. Any chance you will be back at home the week of August 1st to the 5th ? I will be in Winston and in Mt. Airy most of that entire week, then head out to Nashville that Friday. Would love the chance to come see you! Dan Jessup PS - your wonderful wife has been e-mailing from time to time - I will continue to keep in touch.
