I think that sounds great!  No little leak either. BigGrin  Looks like you have some damp air.

I'm not normally a Magnaflow fan(usually prefer Smitty's or Glasspacks) but that sounds great.

I'm not too fond of those. Too much of a hollow or tinny sound. I think others were much better. Mike

I like the Magnaflows!  Just a side note, it still sounds like you have a bit of an exhaust leak.  Header or collector gasket?

To clearify Tim's ears are still in great working condition as I did have a leak and thanks to Doug for finding it.  Guess my fuel pump problem did yield a positive side.

I love the sound of my y-block with Smithy's on it..but alas they are rotted out and I have to replace them...These magnaflow sound good to my ears.. But I have to import them I believe...

Has anyone posted what a y-block using a Porter muffler sounds like? Smitty's are half the price of a Porter but you may get what you pay for?

Any comments?

Tim, not sure if you noticed but the mufflers and tail pipes were just mocked up for listening purposes.  If you think my leak is unrelated let me know.

I do think you have a leak at the flange, it is hard to tell from just YouTube but it sounds like A TICK from one cylinder so I don't think it is the collector or just a loose muffler. Flange gaskets can be hard to hold on some headers, you might feel around the exhaust ports while it is running you might detect it.  Don't burn your hands of course. w00t  Does anyone else hear this noise or am I just a nervous engine builder. Thanks to all for your feedback.  I am leaning towards the Mangaflows but still not sure they are giving me the sound I am wanting.  Keep yours eyes open I may have a new set of Magnaflows for sale.w00t
