Thanks Midwest Mike Mike, that is interesting, i went out to check if i had one and was supprised i did not, from my observations, edmunds and fenton intakes were very similar in shape and design, but yes they are scarce. I do have edmunds 2 x 4 with teapots for 332 lincoln. regards bill.

Bill- Thanks for the info, I never knew anyone but Ford or Edelbrock made dual 4bbl intakes for the y. It apparently also takes the teapot carbs and the seller says it bolts to a y but the ports don't match up?????? I don't know but that doesn't sound good. Midwest Mike

Midwest Mike Mike, i,d say the intake was made to suit the small port heads, merc, 239, 256 and you can see they have been port matched some to line up with later bigger port heads, would fit allright. regards bill.

Many years ago I played with Rochester 4GC carbs a lot. They are relatively simple. I'm not sure a tea pot has the same bolt pattern. I was never impressed by a tea pot. The manifold is definitely for a Y, but I've never seen one like it.

I have a Lincoln Y I want to build for a Model A someday and that would look perfect on it. You always come up with the coolest stuff.

Those cast MKII valve covers are pretty bitchin as well! Yes, they are nice design covers, i got them to swap over on my mk ii which has had fume outlet tubes bolted to them, horribble!! and will use those on this engine. Tim, i also have that engine swap in mind for next hotrod, nothing like the nostalgic term, hotrod lincoln!! great song also, as you know, speed equip is scarce for lincolns unless like RB and a few other believers who focused on that in earlier times. i did lower it into current channeled a model i,m building but would be better in unchanneled car. thanks for your interest. regards bill. yyy

THE REASON THAT EDMUNDS AND FENTON LOOK LIKE THE SAME MANIFOILD, IS THAT FENTON BOUGHT EDMUNDS AND JUST CHANGED THE NAME. FENTON ALSO MADE A CAST IRON HEADER FOR THE Y-BLOCK. THE EARLY ROCHESTER AND CARTER 4-BARRELS HAD THE SAME BOLT PATTERN AS A HOLLEY T-POT. YOU CAN STILL BUY FENTON CAST ALUIM. VALVE COVERS FOR A Y-BLOCK, A GOOD LOOKING COVER. TOM
