Went to an auction yesterday and ended up with 62 galaxie 500XL which I knew G code was 406 and should know my motor codes by heart but haven't dealt with these later models for a while. Anyway the code was X (352) and I coulden't remember what that was off the top of my head. The car was listed as having a 390 and the air filter said 390 4V premium fuel only so I thought it must have the 375 HP engine.

 So someone changed the motor or just installed a 390 air filter, How can I quickly identify what I have? It also had Blue thunderbird valve covers.
