I want to say a special thanks to Tim and Doug.  I was at the NSRA show in Louisville (4 1/2 hours from home) Thursday morning when my fuel pump went out right after entering the show.w00t  I had checked a couple vendors at the show and nobody had a fuel pump or seemed willing to go out of there way to help me get one.  I had messed with the truck for a couple hours when I decided to call Tim for some advice as I was sure the fuel pump was out but wanted a second opinion.  My first thought was to ask Tim if he would post a thread asking for some local help when Tim mentioned he thought Doug was from Louisville and would call him to see if he could help.  Doug called and even stopped by to see what he could do to help.

Long story short after about 6 hours, several calls to local auto parts stores, a call to Tim, a visit by Doug, lots of help from a very helpful scrub owner, a new battery and a few beers I finally got the truck up and running.

This goes to show how helpful and considerate the people on this site are.  If anybody is in my neck of the woods and needs a helping hand please do not hesitate to call me (260-466-8035) and I will see what I can do.  Bing

I've thought for a long time it would be neat to compose a Y-Blocker phone book just for such an event.

Great idea. Since I am at home with nothing but time on my hands I will volunteer for the job of compiling the address/phonebook . Just e-mail me at wpccgrad@hotmail.com with name, address, phone number or anything else you may want to include (such as geographic location) I will get it put together before my surgery. That is if you would like for me to do that. When finished I can send you a copy.

It's a good idea. The Crown Victoria Assn publishes a member book each year and I carry one with me at all times. Just in case I need help.
