I am in the process of getting my 59 ford custom to go down the road without killing me. Right now it feels like it is on auto-pilot, and the auto-pilot is drunk.........the car wanders. Upon investigation, I noticed the idler arm is shot.....and also, where the pitman arm meets the center link, there is a lot of play there. Now, I found that I can order new idler arm bushings, but what about the other side? I initially thought I needed a new center link but I can't find a source for one.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think you can still get most front end parts from Moog.

Kanter shows a drag (center?) link repair kit for both manual and power steering that fits a 55/56. www.kanter.com. They also show idler arms. I have bought from these guys and am satisfied with them.
I hope the site doesn't go down before before I click post like it did when I first time I tried to answer this thread.
