One of my freinds that does junking waved me over the other day and he had a 93 F150 on his ramp truck and was wondering if I was interested, he said the brakes were bad and it hadn't run in a couple years. Looking it over it was solid as a rock )unusual for Maine) so I said lets see if it starts, checked oil and fluids and we put a boost to it and it fired right up so I said deliver it, he only wanted $350 for it.
I pulled it into my shop and the reason it had no brakes was because whoever owned it tried to re-run all the brake lines out of 3/8 rubber gas line hose. Never seen anything like this, did get a good laugh out of it though.
New lines changed 95% of them yesterday, just have the rear end lines to finish today and it will be a good cheap driver for somebody, Interior is mint.
