I just want to clarify that I am going to order the right dizzy. I have a 55 Merc with a 292, and a mercomatic. I am changing from the teapot to a holley 390. Is this the correct distibutor that I will need?

That should do it, did a check and it said it fit a 1958 292 so it should be the newer dizzy, Gary

Kevin it sure looks like the "real deal" to me - and that price tag is pretty decent. I hope others that want a new or spare dizzy are paying attention.......

The correct distributors have no springs showing on the points plate. The earlier ones had adavnce springs on top of the plate
