OK, the curiousity has been killing me for some time now about why we call Ch--ys  scrubs. I have looked in the search topics but there are just too many hits on scrub and scrubs and scrublovers. Is it an acronym or is it just something that we Y-Blockers call a bowtie?  I saw somewhere, maybe here, a list of acronyms for FORDs, Ch--ys, Mopars but can't remember where. Might be a good time to start listing them for some laughs.

I.m not too sure but think it may have originated from jerry christianson or hoosier? Either way it is a polite way of describing the bottom of the barrel.Wink

I think Jerry Christenson coined the phrase "scrub" and the rest of us keep using it...just a nickname, not an acronym. He's got a lot of them.....scrubvette ,   scruburban,  pimpala, smellabui, etc.     Barry L

It was Jerry. He's not particularly enthusiastic about Government Motors products.
