WHAT TYPE AND HOW MUCH FLUID FOR A COMPLETELY DRY 57 T BIRD POWER STEERING SYSTEM? 

Hi, I just researched this for a friend who was finishing up a '57 T-Bird restoration.  The whole system holds about 1 1/2 quarts, so buy 2 quarts of Type A ATF and you should have plenty.  Be sure to turn the wheels to the extreme right and left with the engine running to bleed the air out of the system.  Good luck, Nick Brann - K.C,, MO
