Well, after moch crying I decided to do some experiments.
My plugs were Champions RF11YC. Instaled my new old cables again, and changed the plugs for a set of NGKs AP5FS (non resistor).
The car ran perfect!!!
I took some measurements with my multimeter, and the plugs had almost twice resistence than the longer cable. Hat to use the 100K scale to read the plugs.
I didn't know hom muche resistence those plugs have, and have to say, it amazed me.

Had a friend that had the same problem. Resistor wires and resistor plugs-- ran terrible. Changed the wires and everything was good.

Back to the spark plug wires, I think I'm gonna cry now.
Instaled everything, and the engine didn't like it. My wires were made with a super conductor ruber and some kind of fiberglass as conductors, and I think it was too much for the points distributor. For the part number it's for a 292, but the last ones made, with electronic ignition. I didn't think it would make a difference, but did. The idle is bad, and the car misses. Instaled my old cooper "yelow" wires back, and it's perfect again.
Can it really be the wires, with too much resitence? What do you think guys?

As soon as I find a complete kit for sale, I'll post the price.
A few kilometers from my house, there is a guy taking apart a '73 LTD Landau. Tomorrow I'm gonna take a look, to see if he has the brackets of the A/C.

lovefordgalaxie (8/30/2010) Well, this things are not easy to find, but I already sent some emails to several parts guys I know (don't worry, just asked for the part, and price).
Shipping will be quite high, due to the weight. I'm thinking about 50 Dollars, that's about 88 Reais (1,00 Dollar = 1,75 Real) for the Brazilian equivalent to Priority mail.
The part numbers:
BC7A-19B694-A - Complete bracket kit (no compressor, or any other accessories)
BC7A-19B968-B - Semi-Complete kit (includes compressor and all brackets)
BD3A-19B968-A - Complete Bracket kit (includes compressor, evaporator, condenser, dryer filte, all hoses, belts, wiring, and even the hole saw to the firewall)
With this part numbers you could buy the whoke kit, or just the supports. Warning, those are Brazilian part numbers. I don't know if the U.S.A. part numbers would be the same.
If you couldn't find a kit the way you want anywhere, I'm pretty sure I can find a nice used bracket (a NOS bracket is almost impossible). You will only need to ad a new bearing to the tensioner, and some paint/chrome, and you a ready to go.
How much is the complete kit?

Do you think your Ford dealer can come up with the part numbers for the parts? Than I could try my Ford dealer. Thanks

Two questions- What are the chances of finding the brackets? Don't need compressor. And what do you think shipping to me would be?

That bracket is factory original. Came on '69 to '75 Galaxies with the 292. The only mod I did, was to ad a plate to adapt it to the Sanden compressor. The original was a York. I can look for one, if you are interested, or I can take some measurements, and draw a CAD blueprint.
