Ok, so yesterday on "labor" day, I finally had a chance to breathe and do something in the hobby. Fired up my Blown Y block for a few minutes, caught the attention of the neighbor, he came down, alarmed the neighborhood, and so on. Good stuff!!!

BUT, my father-in-law came over, and we got to work on redoing his interior in his 55 Club Sedan. We removed the old headliner, which was a custom job (nice back in the day, but it had a lot of condensation/moisture issues), and noticed that there was plenty of the yellow fiberglass insulation. Question: was this insulation to hold the heat in during cold weather? Should it be replaced no matter what, and where can we pick some up? The black pad underneath was in near perfect shape, as were the bows, etc.
I assume the perforated vinyl lets the headliner breathe? (we are going back with something more original)
