Hi Mark,  If he had the correct original carburetors then that would be a fair price, in my opinion.  It doesn't sound like he does.  Also needed is the special valley pan regardless of whether it is going on a T-Bird or passenger car.  The carbs are the most expensive part of the setup, and the air cleaners are expensive also.  It looks like he has the passenger car air filter which is too tall to fit on a T-Bird, FYI.  The manifolds are readily available most of the time.  Thanks for the heads up, Nick Brann - K.C., MO

If you need the valley pan and the regular 4bbl intake does not need the special pan,wonder why he didnt take the special pan off when he switched intakes.
