YBLOCKED,

I have Speedway Motors full length headers, Flowmaster super 40's, and 2.25" exhaust tubing.  I haven't got it installed yet...hopefully by next week.

Hey Greg...another new guy to the site here,

What type of exhast headers\mufflers\system are you running? I have a '54 with 239\.o30 over, sanderson headers, 2-1\4" pipes,h-pipe crossover and dual flowmaster 40's.

I have re-installed the original valve covers painted red since this pic was taken.

Scotty,

My son-in-law took video with the truck running on open headers and is supposed to get me a copy.  When that happens I'll try to post it...I'm not very computer savy.  Thanks, for the nice words.  I still have some "fit and finish" work to complete ie. stainless fuel line, new breather, new coil and plug wires etc.  It needs some mufflers so I can drive it without getting a ticket.  Those are next on the list.  Thanks again.

Thanks for the compliments, but it sounds better than it looks, especially with open headers.

Todd, thanks...I like your truck too.  It has the perfect stance in my opinion.  My next project will be a big window fridge cab '57.  When I start that project I'm sure I'll have more questions.

Tim, I'm proud to contibute to Elwood.

Y-block Billy,  The headers are Speedway Motors chassis headers.  1 5/8" primaries 3" collector.
