I thought there have been references to Oil Pump rebuild kits available at NAPA for $39.00.   When I went in to order one the price was $55.  The parts guy said they had new pumps so bought one of them for $61, being surprised because I didnt think NAPA carried them.  It was a Sealed Power gear type, made in USA, FYI.

I also took in a water pump, and told the same man I would like to have them send it to Cardone for rebuild.  He said there was a local rebuilder they send pumps to.  That sounded like a winner, until the price quote came back as $89.  How much are the Cardone rebuilds running?
