Great job with the kids Daniel. I have started my grand kids on Y projects also. Here is one helping vac the 47 rat truck I just started building. I sent them home with a tool box of chinese tools I didn't need and boy were they happy. They loved the safety glasses and wanted to take them also. The only bad part was when they wanted to stick the vacuum hose on their mouth after sucking up all those little chocolate jimmies they were vacuuming up.

Wow Frank, that's quite a spread on the kids. What day in April is your birthday? We have a whole group of freinds with april birthdays that we have one big party for in that month, you'll have to come to the next one.

Good to hear from you again Daniel. I was wondering where you were, sorry to hear about your grandmother. Good to see you are starting the kid out right. I see pix like that and it makes me feel a little sad that I never had any kids, Kathy and I try but I think we are just getting too old. Keep him at it! Tim, Wish I'd known that earlier, I'd have loaned you a few of mine. Seriously, Don't give up. My youngest is 19, I'm 69 in april! ( my oldest will be 49 in september).

Doing great, Dan.pintoplumber (1/7/2011) Boy, I got to get down there for another visit. You know what, we could have our mini-meet sometime after the weather breaks. Only problem is, right now, all of these Y block powered vehicles are down for RnR! The 3 of us have got to get together sometime soon. Y'all welcome anytime.

Glen Henderson (1/7/2011) Don't take long to fill a shop up does it Dan?That's right Glen - especially when I have my father-in-law's interior apart and almost have the headliner finished. Man that's real work!

Hey fellas, get this. My wife is getting in on the act more and more... When I got the Y block mag and the PHR mag in the mail I got them out of the mailbox and laid them down on the kitchen island. My wife quips, "so you got your little goodies huh? Guess you'll be tied up in the bathroom a little while?" "Alright, alright, calm down," I reply. "Listen it's not often that the mighty Y graces the cover of the PHR magazine. Look at these engines - I'll bet you don't even know which one is the Y block, they all look the same to you don't they?" She sauntered over to the magazine, picked up, and in less than a second, put her finger on Eaton's EMC machine. "That's easy!" she said. I just shook my head and asked for the toilet paper!
