Here are a couple of photos...

This was pulled from a 1955 Ford Fordor with a 292 Y block. This air cooled transmission pulled great under its own power...no issues. Although I drove the car around, I never did put it out on the highway at 70 mph, though the previous owner said everything was fine.

The fluid was pretty red when drained, but no doubt you should replace the seals, and the trans gasket. I did not take off the pan, so I don't know what's inside, but since the fluid looked good, I would think everything is ok. There are no extras with this sale. What you see is what you get (minus the chain Tongue). No warranties, but if a third party verifies a major problem I am willing to work with you if you get back to me within 90 days. Just couldn't reimburse shipping with you.

I do have a wooden box for shipping...filled with rolls of paper towels to catch any extra oil or grease. You could of course keep your shipping weight down if you don't want the bellhousing, but I really don't want to separate them out.

Since I am going with a T85 with overdrive, I have no need for this transmission, and this is the second extra one I got anyhow. Need to get it out of my shop.

$150 + shipping. Don't know weight as of yet but could get that for you if your interested.

My zip code is 22603, Winchester, Viriginia.

Do you still have this tranny? Do you also have the torque converter?

Thanks
