By all means scrap it and get new set. Also check the rocker adjuster balls, I'm betting that at least this one is showing wear.

push rods rotate with the lifters. That push looks to me like it's messed up, flawed, and rotating may have it's drawbacks with that one. I would put it in the scrap pile, new ones are not that expensive for stock engines. The possibilites of the rocker ball jumping off the pushrod if a little to much clearance takes place could happen as well.

I'm building my 312 and I was inspecting the pushrods before instalation, and I ran across this one...  It is not bent.  It appears that it was just made this way.  It is a stock ford part, and it has many miles on it.

Have you seen this before?  (sorry for that crappy pic)
