Bill;

I bought one of those roller bearings for my T-5 install, but the fit on the input shaft was soooo tight, I couldn't do it. I was afraid to smack the end of the tranny to get in, so I went back to the bronze bushing. I never checked for alignment between bellhousing center and crank center, but the bushing worked out fine and there is NO vibration in the driveline at all when cruising, shifting, etc.

Rono.

Y-Guy Wood60:    Couple of things that might help you. Use a #6203 roller bearing

               instead of the bushing. I had to cut about 3/8" off my main shaft to

               keep from bottoming out in the crank.(Wiz wheel does good) I put an

               11" clutch in mine 'cause it fit the flywheel, You may want to take

               the flywheel with you, to the parts store. Probably would be a good

                idea to surface the F/W anyway.

                                              Hope this helps,

                                                   Bill

going to put a T-5 into my 1960 Ford 292. going to use an '83 Mustang trans. the spline is 1-1/16 10 spline. I've been told the '67-'68 Mustang 10'' clutch will work. Do you have any other facts-parts- etc. that would help me?
