I live in southern cal and I would say PICK A PART almost always has an old truck with a Y in it.I used to try and buy all of them ,but I quickly ran out of room.You can score a long block for 200 bucks or less.I found G heads and all the other goodies in there.Most of them will be the run of the mill 292 stuff.I live in the Riverside area.

You might try Memory Lane in Wilmington, CA... http://oldautoparts.com/index.shtml They've been around for awhile and if memory serves me they supply cars for Movie Sets.
