John   A couple years ago i heard that Dave Edmonds old 57 was for sale.I found it sitting in a semi trailer in Hebron ohio.It was really sad shape, pretty well rusted up.The motor had been sold off years ago.It use to be a cop car in Patasklia when it was new and I guess Dave Edmonds bought it and put the blower motor in it.An old drag racer by the name of Charlie Weller who use to race a 31 model b with a y block gave me some of the history.  Carl Lynn

In the late '60s there was a team of Parsons and Edmonds from central Ohio running F code drag cars.  In '67 they won the C/SA class at the NHRA nationals with a Thunderbird.  Recently Gordon Payne was looking to contact Gail Parsons, and I found a possible lead.  He called the number, and talked to Gail's widow.  He had passed away 7/5/2010.  Dave Edmonds has been gone about 15 years, she said.  May they rest in peace.
