So I read the post form Tim on the HAMB about C1TE heads being good as G heads if they are worked. I have a set of these and G heads are hard to find up here in Canada it seems. Shipping form the states is expensive too. I have a set of ECZ-C heads on my running 272 in my truck now that are already rebuilt. So to work the C1TE heads need to put in larger valves on intake and hardened seats in the exhaust. These heads came with from what I here sodium filled exhaust valves? Is this a big plus or would most just replace with normal valves if can be done? And these are posted so can take more off and less chance of gasket problems. I want to stick with a 2 barrel for appearance but may change to a Holley 2300 from the stock 94/2100 I have now. So may not need the big valves to build a good street torque motor w/ high 8:1 comp, either Isky or Schnieder torque cam and custom headers from a set of chev block huggers with y flanges put on and dual 2" pipes and mufflers. Maybe ECZ-C heads are good for now.
Maybe I am a loon but always have thoughts LOL
