Lubing the zerk fittings HAS to be the worst service job of all. The biggest headache (aside from the mess) is trying to loosen the threaded zerk-lock on the gun after it's greasy (the knurls are usually only hinted at). I realize the classic car market is not large enough to warrant the development of improved tool technology, but there MUST be a better way! Does anyone make a really good gun accessory kit? I had to buy an electric gun (torn rotator cuff) and would like to upgrade it and justify the expense.
