I like the look of the original holley 2100, 94, 97 etc.  But from what I have read only flow about 180 to 200 cfm?  I have a 1 1/16" original 2 barrel on 56 ford f100 with 272 canadian truck.  Has anyone used a single Demon 98 on a y-block.  They say can be used as single carb and rated at 205 cfm by them.  They would have modern fuel metering.  Don't really want a four barrel with round air cleaner.  Like the old oil bath look.  Or thinking about fuel injecting the old girl possibly with kit from Affordable Fuel Injection or Howell?  Any tips out there?

I think you have an interesting idea there, which I have wondered about myself, just don't have the application or need for it myself.

Demon 2 barrels are a little pricey but wouldn't be as high as a FI setup(I think).

You would have to be sure and changeover the load-a-matic distributor too.

I like to hear more about what you decide, just out of curiousity.

Barry Grant Carbs just closed up shop a couple of weeks ago so the Demon 98’s are likely going to be hard to find unless you’ve already got a set located.

You can remove restricting venturi tubes with EFI, so your CFM rate is better than original.

If you like the look of the old two barrels, but want fuel injection, there are options.
