Talk to Ted Eaton (on links page). He had an adapter made to use a scrub blower intake (cheaper and plentiful) on a Y-Block. He may be willing to make more? Chuck in NH

Same guy! He just dropped his price from $700 to $350. Its a 4 bbl manifold with the top milled off and a blower base mount put on. Should work I guess. Chuck

Might work for show, but it sure ain't worth $700 and not even close to $350 to me. The adapted scrub mainfold that Ted did sounds very interesting though. I would like to look at it up close.

It's on Randy Gummelt's rear engined dragster. Actually he made adapters to fit between the manifold and the heads so the intake is not modified. Quick and simple! Chuck

Here's some pictures of the adapter that Randy built to adapt a scrub blower manifold to the Y heads. The intake port allignment between the two engines is suprisingly close.

B. U. T. FUL, that would sure blow some minds at the local drive in or car show. Wonder why that engine hasn't been featured in any of the major "rags"? Could it be that it might devert attention from the scrub engine and cause the major aftermarket suppliers to have to start offering parts for the Y block again? Food for thought.
